Wanda Abelman, Program Supervisor
Wanda worked at Alternatives, Inc., from 1995 to 2002 initially as a case manager and then as program supervisor. She has recently returned as program supervisor after a period of not working. She graduated from Eastern Montana College in 1995 with a BS in Human Services with concentrations in gerontology, mental health and rehabilitation. Prior to that Wanda worked 22 years in law offices in Billings.

Steve Gilbert, Operations Supervisor
Steve Gilbert has been employed with Alternatives, Inc. since 2000. Prior to his employment with Alternatives, Inc. Steve was a self employed contractor. In 2000 he sold his company to family members and retired. However, retirement only lasted six months; Steve retired from retirement and went to work as a Client Advisor at Alternatives, Inc. He currently holds the position of Operations Supervisor at Alpha House. Steve sums up his experiences working at Alternatives Inc. with the following words: interesting, never boring, high energy, educational. He has been married for 39 years and has three children and five grandchildren. Steve and family have lived in Billings for 35 years.

Deron Meyers, CA V Training Officer
Deron has been employed with Alternatives, Inc. since November of 1998. He currently holds the position of Client Advisor Training Officer. Deron has worked in a security related field for over fifteen years, including a Duty Master in the Navy for two years and working for a local security company for six years. Deron enjoys working at Alternatives; he says the staff are all great to work with and he loves the fact that he learns something new on a daily basis.

Troy McInnis, Training Supervisor
Troy began working for Alternatives in June of 2006. He graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts and Science, with an emphasis in Criminal Justice, Management and Education. Troy has extensive experience in Law Enforcement as a former Peace Officer and Corrections Officer in Texas. He has been certified in Jail Operations since 1989. As a law enforcement officer, he received the Medal of Merit, which is the third highest award you can receive in law enforcement. Troy also has extensive experience in cross cultural relations. He studied and worked in the humanitarian aid field, teaching and building relationships with 15 different people groups in Rome, Italy.
