Roxianne Burrows, Screening / Disciplinary Officer
Roxianne has been employed at Alternatives Inc since 1996. She left on 2 occasions but returned. She has worked as a UA Lab Tech, Client Advisor where she worked her way to CAV Trainer and then became the first Agency Trainer before becoming the Operations Supervisor. Roxianne left this position to help start the Passages Program where she is currently the Screening/Disciplinary Coordinator. She is a retired Army Military Police Officer with 20 years service. She held all positions up to Command Sergeant Major where she had over 300 personnel under her. She has attended the Community College of Chicago, University of Maryland and John Jay Criminal College.

Kristi Forsch, Operations Supervisor
Kristi worked at Alternatives, Inc., from 1995 to 1996 as a Client Advisor and then returned in December of 2006 as Operations Supervisor for the passages Program. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1993 with a BS in Administration of Justice. Kristi worked for the Yellowstone County Detention Facility for eight years attaining the rank of Sergeant. She resigned her position with YCDF in 2004 to become a Probation & Parole Officer for the State of Montana. Kristi has been post certified as a Detention Officer, Police Reserve and as a Probation & Parole Officer by the Montana Law Enforcement Academy during her career in corrections.

Kelly Mortensen, Lead Case Manager
Kelly Mortensen possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services. She began her career with Alternatives, Inc. as a college intern, and was hired in March of 1989. Over the course of the next 15 ½ years Ms. Mortensen worked with all of the community corrections programs offered by Alternatives, case management of state and federal pre-release residents, contract team, disciplinary, and as Program Supervisor. Ms. Mortensen is returning to Passages as Lead Case Manager of the Pre-Release Program after a 2 year break from Corrections.

Mindy Brookshire, Lead ASC
Mindy Brookshire, Lead Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor:
Mindy has worked in the mental health and correctional fields for over ten years and has been with Alternatives, Inc. since 2005. She is currently the Lead Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with the assessment and sanction center at the Passages facility for women. Mindy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from CSU-Fresno and a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from MSU-Billings. In addition to her employment with Alternatives, Inc., Mindy also is the Contract Therapist at the Montana Women's Prison, a position she has held since 1998.

Rhonda Stennerson, Lead ADT
Rhonda began working for Alternatives Inc. in May of 2006 and moved to The Passages part of Alt Inc. December of 2006. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Counseling and Human Service from MSU-Billings and has been a Licensed Addiction Counselor since 1993. She will be overseeing the treatment programming of Passages Alcohol and Drug Treatment a 60 day inpatient treatment process. She will also be providing the Matrix Model of Treatment, the model of treatment that will be used throughout Passages for chemical dependency. Rhonda has had thorough training in Matrix after being apart of the CSAT Methamphetamine Treatment Project of 1999 to 2003 and is also a trainer of Matrix. She has lived most of her life in Montana and has resided in Billings for the last 13 years.

Tim Rickett, Training Supervisor
Tim began his criminal justice career with the Yellowstone County Detention facility in 2000. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and remained active as a field trainer, use of force instructor, and as a team leader for the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team. In 2006 Tim accepted a position as a Deputy Sheriff at the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office in Cheyenne, Wyoming. During his service as a criminal justice professional he has been certified as a Detention Officer, First Line Supervisor, and Deputy Sheriff. He has also received numerous commendations including the Laramie County Sheriff’s lifesaving award. Tim began employment with Passages in 2007 as the Agency Training Supervisor.
